چکیده

Universal scaling relations for dissipative Tomonaga-Luttinger (TL) liquids with SU($N$) spin symmetry are obtained both fermions and bosons, by using asymptotic Bethe-ansatz solutions conformal field theory (CFT) in one-dimensional non-Hermitian quantum many-body systems symmetry. We uncover that the spectrum of TL is described sum one charge mode characterized a complex generalization $c=1$ U(1) Gaussian CFT, $N-1$ modes level-$1$ Kac-Moody algebra anomaly $c=N-1$, thereby dissipation only affects as result spin-charge separation systems. The derivation based on Haldane's ideal-gas description, which implemented Calogero-Sutherland model inverse-square long-range interactions.

Phase theory and critical exponents for the Tomonaga - Luttinger model with harmonic confinement

A phase operator formulation for a recent model of interacting one-dimensional fermions in a harmonic trap is developed. The resulting theory is similar to the corresponding approach for the Luttinger model with open boundary conditions (OBC). However, in place of the spatial coordinate z, a dimensionless variable u defined on the unit circle appears as argument of the phase fields and u is non...

Detection of spin entanglement via spin-charge separation in crossed Tomonaga-Luttinger liquids.

We investigate tunneling between two spinful Tomonaga-Luttinger liquids (TLLs) realized, e.g., as two crossed nanowires or quantum Hall edge states. When injecting into each TLL one electron of opposite spin, the dc current measured after the crossing differs for singlet, triplet, or product states. This is a striking new non-Fermi liquid feature because the (mean) current in a noninteracting b...

Bosonic description of a Tomonaga-Luttinger model with impurities

We extend a recently proposed non-local version of Coleman’s equivalence between the Thirring and sine-Gordon models to the case in which the original fermion fields interact with fixed impurities. We explain how our results can be used in the context of one-dimensional strongly correlated systems (the so called Tomonaga-Luttinger model) to study the dependence of the charge-density oscillation...

Universal Behavior of Quantum Impurity Scattering in Tomonaga-Luttinger Liquid

Using bosonization and path integral methods, we study general low temperature behavior of non-magnetic and magnetic impurity scattering in Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid, and calculate electron Green function for a general backward scattering potential. We demonstrate that electron density of state near the impurity site is suppressed by the backward scattering, but it mainly remains invariant as f...

Universal theory of nonlinear Luttinger liquids.

One-dimensional quantum fluids are conventionally described by using an effective hydrodynamic approach known as Luttinger liquid theory. As the principal simplification, a generic spectrum of the constituent particles is replaced by a linear one, which leads to a linear hydrodynamic theory. We show that to describe the measurable dynamic response functions one needs to take into account the no...
